Multimedia reporter

Storytelling is my true passion regardless which medium I use, and as Maya Angelou put it:

-There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.

When I first made the change from photography to broadcasting however, I thought that video journalism would be my preferred medium considering my visual background as a photographer. However I soon found that I loved working in radio as well; it opened up a completely different way of working with images - the ones that we have to create in people's heads. Here is a rather small showcase of my previous work, although it is in Norwegian - it might give you an idea of what I can do.

Videojournalist

The video below is a story about the rise in expecting couples wanting to hire in extra help during child birth. Doulas are a rather new phenomenon in Norway. (The case is in Norwegian, unfortunately there are no subtitles - still working on that).

Radio reporter

The following audio files below are some of the radio cases that I both interviewed and edited during the period that I worked as a reporter with the Norwegian broadcasting company NRK. Unfortunately I no longer have the introduction to the cases, and all files are in Norwegian.
